Yellow Scotch Bonnet, 15 seeds

Also known as the Jamaican or Bahamian pepper, this pepper originated from Jamaica and is a very important ingredient in Carribean cuisine (e.g. jerk spice mix). 75 days to harvest.


Flavour profile: Very hot (scoville unit: 150,000-300,000). Sweet and fruity.


Germination: 7-14 days under ideal conditions.

Yellow Scotch Bonnet, 15 seeds

    • Full sun (minimum is 6 hours daily)
    • Fertile - chillies are heavy feeders, and need a regular schedule of fertiliser
    • Well-draining medium with plenty of organic material 
    • Watch out for pests; whitefly, mealies and aphids love peppers! Always check the stems and the underside of leaves regularly and use organic pesticides to keep them in check.
